If you’d like to apply for any of the the Speak Norwegian courses without taking a trial lesson, we’d like to get to know you a little better first, to make sure it’s a good fit you and us.

Norwegian language levels:
Find your starting point.
Our lesson packages are designed to meet you at your current skill level.
There are 6 official levels — A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.
We currently offer lessons up to B2 (Upper Intermediate).
BEGINNER LEVELS:
A1 (Beginner) – Learn the basics! Introduce yourself, ask simple questions, and understand common words and phrases.
A2 (Elementary) – Build confidence with everyday conversations, like ordering food, shopping, and making small talk.
INTERMEDIATE LEVELS:
B1 (Intermediate) – Expand your vocabulary, hold conversations on familiar topics, express opinions, and describe experiences.
B2 (Upper Intermediate) – Speak with more fluency and ease, understand detailed texts, and discuss a variety of topics with native speakers.
ADVANCED LEVELS:
C1 (Advanced) – Understand complex texts, speak fluently without hesitation, and use Norwegian effectively in professional and academic settings.
C2 (Proficient/Fluent) – Near-native fluency. You can understand everything you read or hear and express yourself with precision in any situation.
(While we reference all levels for clarity, we do not currently offer instruction at the C1 or C2 levels.)
